FLT3L induces PU.1 and STAT3 mRNA expression in DC progenitors and downregulates GATA1 mRNA expression. At The same time enforced expression of STAT3 or PU.1 in DC progenitors led to the up-regulation of Flt3 mRNA levels, so there is a positive loop in this signaling.  Enforced STAT3 or PU.1 expression instructs progenitors to differentiate into Dcs. Additionaly it induces expression mRNAs of cytokine receptors for G-CSF, M-CSF, and GM-CSF probably downstream of STAT3 ()

IFN-β regulates expression of homing and angiogenic factors in neutrophils.
IFNB downregulates expression Cxcr4, Vegf, and Mmp9 in neutrophils
additionally Stat3 and c-myc are downregulated by IFN-β.
(STAT3 is known to be required for full activation of the Cxcr4 gene )
